I just wanted to show the before and after photos of snow in Meridian, ID. For those of you who don't know where Meridian is...it's ten miles from Boise. We hardly ever get snow but when we do I try to make the most of it. Because I knew 7 inches would be melted the next day, I thought I better hurry and make a snowman so it will stick around longer. My daughter, Emily and I made three snowmen and started making a fort to go around it. It was already dark by the time we could get out there. It was raining all the while we were making them. The snow on the ground WAS completely gone the next day and the three snowmen were reduced to 2 snowballs and 2 carrots (lying on the ground) the third day or so after the snowfall. We sure had fun for a couple hours anyway for the winter. We were just SO excited that we got snow at all!! YAY!!
